Token Blizzcon Post :P

Alright. Blizzcon was this previous weekend. Not many interesting things came out from it, apart from MONK CLASS IN DIABLO III.

Of course, I kidd. World of Warcraft : Cataclysm (LOLCAT, for short) was announced, and a large chunk of infomation was released. Sadly, alot of it was leaked before Blizzcon, ruining the surprise somewhat. A summary after the break.

Soaring Above The Barrens

Flying over Mulgore.

Flying over Mulgore.

((Okay, first things first, this post is going to be in character. Why? I don’t know, it just is. Therefore, all the text here is supposedly the voice of Selite, and will be white, instead of the light purple-ish colour I would use in her sidenotes if I have something that can’t be expressed in normal text, I’m not sure what I’ll do. Probably more brackets like this. Enjoy!))

Alright. I found out my nigh good for nothing sister was in Thunder Bluff recently, and I asked her to take the newly established Zeppelin route from Thunder Bluff to Orgrimmar and for her to take some pictures of the trip with one of her strange engineered ‘gadgets’.

The dock on the spirit rise at TB.

The dock on the spirit rise at TB.

Here she is, on her fancy paladin horse, flying away from the Spirit Rise in Thunder Bluff. She commented on how there was not a single soul nearby apart from the ship’s crew, but I think she’s going a little crazy, as any plebeian knows that it is an airship, lord of the skies. None the less, she said it was quite entertaining.

She flew over the plains of Mulgore, throwing down the light’s blessing on whomever would take them, but she found only a few young Tauren in the entirety of her trip. Infact, she only saw a single soul on the ground along her whole trip. I for one wonder if she was looking to the sky more than the ground, as she still hasn’t experienced the feeling of being able to fly wherever she pleases.

She made her way across the Barrens, and she admitted that the trip wasn’t that scenic, to her immense disappointment. I told her that she should be happy that she doesn’t have to take a detour in Desolace, but she mentioned that she had been there in her quest for self-fulfillment. The fool.

A great view of Orgrimmar.

A great view of Orgrimmar.

None the less, she managed to get a great view of the gaping big hole in Orgrimmar’s defences. I mean, really. The Alliance could just waltz in the side there, and they’d be hardly more than a skip and a jump away from Thrall himself. Good news is that the Horde are much less retarded than the Alliance, and have not allowed them to kill our warchief. (Ha, our warchief, what am I thinking, I don’t have no warchief.)

Well, that concludes her trip on the Zeppelin, but I must admit, I will be sticking to the good old teleport if I ever need to goto Thunder Bluff ever again.

Project Loremaster : Terror of Tirisfal

Wewt! Completed all of Tirisfal Glades’ quests over the last few days, os now Pyrin is level 15 and heading off to sunny ole Durotar. I had written a sentance and a half about how I’d have to run across the barrens, but I realised that there is a Org <–> TB Zep now. I is a bit silly.

Now for the stats;

I look like a warlock, how sneaky.

Yay for more post break stats!.

Lazy Screenshot Post is Lazy

Alright, I put most of my 3.2 ranting into that wonderful podcast you see below this post, so I didn’t have much to talk about. But, thanks to my random screenshots I figured I could upload some of them and talk about them as a fantastically easy way to write a ~2000 word post. (What, I picture is worth a thousand words, right? I’ve got two.)

In addition, there are a bunch of comments from the crazed loon herself (Look who’s talking – Selite), all of which are in curved brackets, with a ‘- Selite’ or ‘- S’ at the end. I might figure out a more unified way to do this in the future, but it works for now.

Frumpy Human Form, FTW?

Frumpy Human Form, FTW?

Clicky on the Image to make it nice and big. (1680×1050, about 2mb) It’s frumpy human form, in the worst version of the best instance around. (Around being defined as ‘In Stratholm’) Fun instance, but I still wonder why they couldn’t of turned some of us (me) into high elves, others into Dwarves, but no Gnomes (they were in Gnomers dying all of WC3) or Draenai (EREDAR!) or Nelfs (they were across the sea, remember?). I do actually like how Sel looks as a human, I actually like the grey hair, I think it looks cool (Really? Really? – Selite) but I’m fairly sure that it’s partially due to the hair style. Remind me to goto the Barber to see if I can get it done like that. (What? Nooooooo! – Selite)

RAWR! BEARZ ARE 4 RIDIN!

RAWR! BEARZ ARE 4 RIDIN!

This is a fairly simple picture, of Sel in some slightly older gear (it was taken a few days before 3.2 :P) ON A FREAKIN BEAR. I don’t care what you say, bears are cool. (I don’t like them, they smell funny – Selite) At the Oracle town, obviously buying a [Mysterious Egg] or something, as I doubt I’d go there otherwise. (The Gorlocks smell like fish; at least they aren’t annoying and childlike like the Wolvar – Selite)

Alright, well, I should go take some more pictures, like ones on [Rivendare's Deathcharger] and Cronormi (A [Bronze Drake], if you can’t see the WoWhead tooltips), or just of me jumping off of shit, then IBing at the last possible second. Man, I am so stupid sometimes… (You’ve got a fucking death wish, you mean – Selite)

Arc Envoy Blogcast Ep 2: 3.2 and the hell of 3 takes.

This week, I look at 3.2 and what it means in general. A short show, as I started to flip the frakk out after losing the first two 30-45 minute episodes. Yay!
