Yes, I have been playing a little, and SHOCK, that leads to me posting. Woo!
Most recently, I have been avoiding going near heroics on Iriai, because honestly like I would want to do any of those. Of course, this has the somewhat unintended side effect of meaning I can’t get geared to do raids. This could be considered a bad thing.
What I have actually been doing, is leveling Selite, through Archeology (hence the post title). Now, in this post, I will spout some numbers, and generally do math. If you are allergic to math (not that it’s too much, but you have been warned), you may want to advance with a level of slight care.
Okay, now, because I didn’t think of this at all when I was going from 80 -> 81, I don’t have any numbers for that. It’ll be a bit, but just hunker down and level that profession.
Once you hit 81, you will need 2,121,500 XP to hit 82. When rested, I was getting 15,290 XP per find, or about 7,645 XP non-rested. Fully rested you will need about 139 finds, or 46.33 dig sites. If you are fully unrested, you can double that.
From 82 to 83 (where I am currently), you need 4,004,000 XP, and get 19,250 XP per find (rested). This comes out to about 208 finds needed if you are fully rested, or 69.33 dig sites, again, you can double these if you are unrested.
The moral is that you will need to do a metric fucktonne of digging, but then again, you need to do a fucktonne of digging anyway to get the ‘Professor BlahBlah’ title, and that’s the main reward of this profession.
