Let’s get the ‘important’ part out of the way first. Why “Arcane Envoy”?
Simple. I wanted a name that spoke about the kind of characters I like to play (Magic-Types), but more importantly, gave me the ability to experiment and such, therefore I whacked an ‘Envoy’ on the end, figuring that was a good enough word to represent my branching out to other game styles or whatever.
Anyway, time for the fun part. First thing’s first, Song of the Day time. Which implies I’m going to have one of these every day. Not going to happen. It’s the 1st OP to Nichijou, which could also be constructed as me asking you why I didn’t start watching this show 22 weeks ago.
Anyway, now we can get down to the important news on the WoW front.
You see! SELITE THE SEEKER, BABY! Yes, I finally got off my ass and started doing quests with her, and 50 quests later, I got my fancy fresh title. I must admit though, Rift has made me ‘title-ist’, considering my poor 37 Mage has about a billion titles already. It’s crazy.
Speaking of Rift, I’ve played a fair bit of it over the last few days (12+ hours out of 28 hours as of time of writing), and taking advantage of the half-birthday celebrations, I’ve leveled 8 times. The game does get much better after about 20-25, although the XP bonus making me fly through content helps a bit too (although I kinda feel like I’m going too fast, but that’s another blog post).
I also jammed out a whole bunch of my character’s RP behaviors, but they’re not the sorts of things you can just waffle off in a blog post somewhere (lies!). The basic version is “Selite (names might become confusing in the long run, but whatever) don’t talk much”. I forget where I got the idea from, but it’s not really that she can’t speak (theoretically – nobody knows if she can talk or not), but more that she either doesn’t have anything to say, or just doesn’t feel the need to acknowledge anyone.
