Adventures In Tyria: Lazy Screenshot Post Is Lazy

Well, I think it’s pretty self evident what this is. This afternoon I decided to go through my actual game screenshot folder (opposed to my “capture every few seconds” FRAPS screenshot folder of doomy doom). Most of these were taken with the “HQ screenshot” function, which renders the scene at 4 times the size, and then cropped down and exported at ~1920×1080. Because that’s a good size or something.

I’m not 100% sure where this is, but it’s somewhere in New Lion’s Arch (because just calling it Lion’s Arch implies that LA isn’t underwater right now)

Look at me, responsibly putting EVEN MORE IMAGES under a read more tag. Jeez, I’m so smart and stuff.

More pictures from Lion’s Arch. I promise they’re not all from here. Seriously.

Interestingly, the hardest part about these sorts of posts is breaking up the endless list of images with text and stuff. I could talk about GW2, but at the moment I’m just content to know it’s a thing and it exists.

This auctioneer had glasses. I wanted to give her all my money.

Okay, finally done with Lion’s Arch. You might notice that my character does in fact feature in all of these shots. Not much I can do about that, due to the current constraints on camera zoom. (Namely, no 1st person shots, and the max zoom distance is kinda short)

I think I look kinda pale in this picture/zone. Also I conjured up this cool Frost Bow.

Firesword was the best sword. Also gave me the power to spin to win, so that was fun.

Look at me, all doing double pictures before writing more words. Hahaha. I’m so sneaky. (WORDS ARE HARD ‘KAY?)

Floaty magic island. I wanted to go over there, but it was impossible. Still, looks awesome.

And the final few pictures prove that there are actually other people playing this game, by featuring them prominently.

I love this outfit, it looks really good, man. Shame it’s only a costume, and can’t be used all the time.

This shot is pretty good for seeing the weird sort of cutting stuff out that sometimes happens (look at my hair).

And I’m done! That was easy. Love easy posts. :p See you next time, on ADVENTURES IN TYRIA. *fanfare*
