Again, unto the Alt Breach

Yes, I totally started a new alt yesterday. Am I a bad person? (For those of you not familiar with my many announcements of new alts, the highest any of them got (that I announced before level 20) was 30, and that was only recently after not playing that particular alt for like a year.)

This alt is a GOBLIN SHAMAN, and is taking the enhancement talent tree (ignore the fact that she has a shield in the picture below, I couldn’t find another 1h weapon to use – I’ve got one now), and she is kitted out with exactly two heirlooms.

War is hell, but when you look this good, who cares?

Giggix is pictured above in the wondrous Lost Isles, which goes just a bit too long, perhaps? On the upside, she looks freaking awesome.

Also, you may want to ignore the somewhat messy UI, it’s just something I whipped up so I could play after 4.0, and it’s stuck because I am super lazy.

Still, it is my intention to level Giggix here up to 85, or at least 80, I’m kinda sick of some of the 80-85 zones at this stage (Vashj’ir & Deepholm), but whatever, man, I figure I have other alts to play, or I could make more (not without deleting one of my other alts, I’ve been riding the Server cap for a while here).

In other Alt based news, I have been playing my priest (Yes, the one from Project Loremaster ), leveling her with a friend & RAF, so we are blasting our way through zones at the speed of light, or something even faster.

In not-shadowform for your visual pleasure

Yes, she’s grown up a lot since last time, hitting level 32 as of right now. Yes, her guild (which is basically an alt guild for moi, and as such is only level 1 because of how shit guild leveling is below level 80), has jugs as it’s symbol, which was chosen by it’s previous leader, my other friend (although he didn’t really care about it much, or at all).

In other news, I’d like to take a moment to talk about the fact that the WoW blogging community lost a good man today (in an official sense), with Kriz of Frost is the New Black shutting up shop. This is sad, but it’s cool, because hey, he’s still around on twitter, and is blogging about the animes at Baka Laureate, so you know, whatever, I guess?

While I may not of agreed with him about frost (I irrationally dislike it), I certainly respected him, in the same sort of way I respect all of the dudes that stick with one spec like idiotic people (such as myself with Arcane), and in tribute, I present this picture of one of my many, many, mage alts that attempted to level frost (sorry it’s not a gnome).

And frost she totally is. However much it makes it dull to level.

And with that, I figure I’ve waffled on enough, and should probably go eat some. (I totally did, before coming back and adding on that bit about Kriz, and they were delicious). Catch you later, TwilliK out.

Project Loremaster : Doing it in Durotar.

Finally got around to doing the final couple of quests in Durotar. Now I’m going to quickly push out Mulgore, so I can get onto some less boring zones  (wait, Ghostlands, FUCK!).

In addition, from Ghostlands on (Tier 2) I’m going to be doing ‘loremaster guides’, i.e, quest lists, with quest givers marked on them, in a easy to check off format. (or I won’t. I plan on having this as automated as physically possible. :3 )

Now for the stats;

For other interesting (not) stats, see after the break.

Total :

  • Zones Explored : 3
  • Kills : 709 (315 non-greycon)
  • Deaths : 7 (1 Falling)
  • Total Damage done : 92035
  • Total Healing done : 5891

Project Loremaster : Terror of Tirisfal

Wewt! Completed all of Tirisfal Glades’ quests over the last few days, os now Pyrin is level 15 and heading off to sunny ole Durotar. I had written a sentance and a half about how I’d have to run across the barrens, but I realised that there is a Org <–> TB Zep now. I is a bit silly.

Now for the stats;

I look like a warlock, how sneaky.

Yay for more post break stats!.

Project Loremaster : Well, it’s a beginning.

Alright. So, I’ve got 100% of the non seasonal (Which don’t count anyway) quests for Eversong Woods. Pyrin is about 86% through level 12, and we’re heading off to Trisfal Glades next.

Project Loremaster : Intro

Well, well. Look who’s come crawling back to post something. Me!

I’m working on Loremaster on a new toon, a priest. She’s currently level 10, with [Tattered Dreadmist Mantle]. She’s done the first few quest hubs in Eversong, and will move her way through zones chronologically by level.

At level 6.

At level 6.

Plan is to get her to finish Eversong tomorrow, then move on to Trisfal Glades, then Durotar, and finally to Mulgore.

Once they’re all ~100% done, we move onto the second tier of zones, otherwise known as Ghostlands, Silverpine Forest, and The Barrens (which is more like tier 2.5), and so on ’till we finish all of azeroth. If at that stage, the [Loremaster of Eastern Kingdoms] and [Loremaster of Kalamador] achievement’s aren’t complete, then we go back using our log of quests complete, soloing instances, finding drops to start quests, and whatever, ’till they’re both gained. Then we move onto Outland, doing each zone’s Loremaster achievement in order, and finally going to Northrend, and doing the same there.

After that, I’ll mop up any dungeon quests, holiday quests, and what not, ’till I finish [3000 Quests Completed].

It’s going to be a long journey, that’s for sure.
